WeRoad Social Content, Creator & Community Growth

A field case connecting cultural insight, creator fit, community events and carefully maintained UGC into coordinated social-growth work for a travel brand.

WeRoad overseas marketing case study cover featuring a group trip at Mount Bromo.
Role

Overseas Marketing Intern · Content, creator sourcing, community events and UGC-library maintenance

Context

WeRoad · Italy

Methods

Content Strategy · Creator Sourcing · KOL & UGC · Community Events · Instagram · Brand Storytelling

The challenge

Travel content is crowded and visually repetitive. The work needed to make WeRoad culturally relevant, identify creators who could build real group energy, support community participation and keep useful traveler material organized for future campaigns.

The approach

  1. Developed content cases from class knowledge and daily observation. Nonna-maxxing translated an Organizational Psychology insight on burnout into a culturally relevant travel story, while cinema comparisons, cultural maps and flight-route formats made destination knowledge easy to share.
  2. Sourced 200–300 creators in total and supported 60+ collaborations across different audience scales. livin_the_vantasy stood out as a Group Leader fit because his Summits with Strangers series already showed that he could convene unfamiliar people, organize outdoor experiences and create group energy.
  3. Supported 4+ WeMeet community events, then maintained, organized and tagged traveler images and videos so the existing UGC library stayed usable for later organic and paid content.

Outcome

The work demonstrated how editorial ideas, creator activation, offline community and user-generated proof can reinforce one another. Posts created interest, creator partnerships added trust, events produced real participation, and maintained UGC extended the useful life of those experiences.
